Once again the Terps could not keep their momentum going in a big time basketball game against one of the most hated teams in Maryland. Turnovers were huge a game that could of showed people that Maryland was ready to be a contender. Every player on the team had an off night when it was a game that required that every body have an on night.
You know what really bugs me? I took the Terps in a 11.5 spread. You know what that means? I lost by a half a stinking point, not one, not two - a half!

Ozzie Newsome let it be known this week that there is no possibility of Terrell Suggs not being a Raven this year.

“We will be using the franchise tag on Terrell if we don’t have a long-term deal in place between now and then,” general manager Ozzie Newsome said yesterday.

After the almost 2 month old saga, known formerly as the Bedard Trade, has went through word has now moved over to a possible Brian Roberts trade to the Cubs. The Baltimore Sun is reporting that a deal is still in the works that might send Roberts to the Cubs for names that include pitchers Sean Gallagher, Sean Marshall and Donnie Veal, infielder Ronny Cedeno; outfielders Felix Pie, Tyler Colvin and lastly Matt Murton.

“Everything I’ve asked Peter to do, he’s given me,” MacPhail said. “I’m sure there are going to be times where I’m not going to get everything I’ve asked for. But I’m batting about a thousand now. I can’t ask for more. The one thing I keep mentioning to Peter is, ‘Look, you’ve got to let it be on me. If I [mess] this up and I don’t get enough back, it’s on me, and he needs to get somebody else in here.’ ”
